1-888-OHIOCOMP Makes First Day of School Big Hit for Cleveland Kids Thursday, Aug. 28, 2003 CLEVELAND – School kids are the focus of 1-888-OHIOCOMP’s most recent community effort. More than 1,000 Cleveland school children from Corlett Elementary and the Early Childhood Development Center received backpacks filled with school supplies donated by 1-888-OHIOCOMP and its parent company, Minute Men Human Resource System. Cleveland Mayor Jane Campbell, Dr. Barbara Byrd-Bennett, Minute Men CEO Jay Lucarelli and a host of volunteers handed out backpacks to students as they arrived for their first day of school on Aug. 28. And as an added surprise, each backpack contained a folder donated by the Cleveland Browns. 1-888-OHIOCOMP and the Minute Men Human Resource System are proud to help make the first day of school something special for our school kids.
