Cleveland-based 1-888-OHIOCOMP named to national Inner City 100 index

CLEVELAND —1-888-OHIOCOMP, a state-certified managed care organization (MCO),
is one of three Cleveland-area companies included in the Sixth Annual ICIC-Inc.
Magazine Inner City 100 – a listing of the nation’s 100 fastest-growing businesses
that are creating jobs, income, and wealth for inner-city residents. The announcement
was made at the April 2004 Inner City 100 Summit/CEO Forum in Boston
Inner City 100 is a joint venture of Initiative for a Competitive Inner City (ICIC) and Inc. Magazine.
ICIC is a national, non-partisan, not-for-profit organization founded in 1994 by Harvard Business School
Professor Michael E. Porter, following several years of pioneering research on inner-city business and
economic development. By identifying the competitive potential of inner cities; strategic location,
local market demand, growth opportunities via integration with the regional economy and availability of
labor, ICIC aims to build the business case for doing business in America’s inner cities.
1-888-OHIOCOMP joins the ranks of its parent company, Minute Men Human Resource System, a two-time
Inner City 100 winner. “The Inner City 100 distinction is proof of 1-888-OHIOCOMP’s continued growth
