Following the nomination process, Workplace Dynamics, surveyed employees of the participating companies on career development, the quality of their management team, pay, benefits and more. On June 20, a special edition of The Cleveland Plain Dealer showcased the 2010 Northeast Ohio Top Workplaces. 1-888-OHIOCOMP was noted for quality in the following categories: Workplace Strengths of Direction, Execution, Career, Managers and Conditions.

2009 Inc. 5000 listing of the nation's top business performers


Inc. magazine has named 1-888-OHIOCOMP to the 2009 Inc. 5000, an exclusive listing of the nation’s fastest-growing private companies. The Inc. 5000 is ranked according to percentage revenue growth from 2005 through 2008. Additionally, companies must be U.S.-based, private, for profit, and independent as of December 31, 2008.

The Third Annual Inc. 500/5000 Conference and Awards Ceremony was held Sept. 23 – 25 at the Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center in National Harbor, Maryland.

2006 Weatherhead 100 Award

CLEVELAND - For the fourth consecutive year, 1-888-OHIOCOMP has been named to the Weatherhead 100 listing of Northeast Ohio’s fastest growing companies. Since its inception in 1987, the Weatherhead 100 event has showcased Northeast Ohio companies that have achieved consistent growth over a period of five years.

CLEVELAND - For the second consecutive year, 1-888-OHIOCOMP has been named to the ICIC-Inc. Magazine Inner City 100 – a listing of the nation’s 100 fastest-growing businesses. Inner City 100 companies were selected from a pool 4,500 companies nominated from 150 U.S.cities.

Based on this year’s competition, 1-888-OHIOCOMP continues to make its mark on the northeastern Ohio economy. For the five-year period between 1999 and 2003, 1-888-OHIOCOMP recorded a cumulative growth of 688 percent.

2004 Weatherhead 100 Award

CLEVELAND – For the second year in a row, 1-888-OHIOCOMP has won the prestigious 2004 Weatherhead 100 Award present by the Case Weatherhead School of Management.

To qualify for the annual Weatherhead 100 listing, companies must show continuous growth over a five-year period and be located in one of 16 northeastern Ohio counties.   In the 2004 competition, 1-888-OHIOCOMP ranked third with sales growth of over 500 percent.   In 2003, 1-888-OHIOCOMP was recognized as the ninth fastest growing company in northeastern Ohio with sales growth of 514 percent.
